

Jerzy Lesniak
CAST Planning Team Chairman
Jerzy brings years of experience and never exhausted energy working in non-for-profit sector focused on innovation in education. In 1999, he established the Nowodworski Foundation facilitating art and music programs, international camps for culturally diverse communities in Hudson Valley. He organized dozens of concerts, art exhibits, contests, and festivals, established long-term cooperation with public libraries, Westchester Arts Council, Putnam Arts Council, NYSCA, Healthy Kids Program as well as many cultural organizations. Jerzy also arranged fiscal sponsorship for the artists.
As an architect, Jerzy has experience in design of schools and universities in the US and abroad. He also brings hands-on working relationship with government agencies including the New York City and Yonkers. He is a member of Yonkers Chambers of Commerce, Caribbean American Chambers of Commerce and Industry, PABC, PAWA-SWAP.
He loves to share his time as a ski instructor, hiking guide, leading students’ camps and international tours.
